YMCA

So SportsFirst on Thursday announced that the YMCA purchased the franchise for 4 million dollars. For about 5 months SF was looking for a buyer to finance the company and expand as Baptist Health South and SF parted ways. This would seem like a good thing to many people however in the span of 30 hours since the article ran in the Bham Times the Mountain Brook facility has had 28 members cancel. In addition the Y pays their trainers much differently than SF does so this may cause further problems.
Were I staying longer I would care alot more, but I must admit I don't like seeing the future place I worked at fall to a much lower standard.
